At Varuna we’re thrilled to share the successful design and execution of a comprehensive Laundry Effluent Treatment Plant for a leading name in the commercial laundry industry.
This fully automated, eco-efficient system is built to treat high-load laundry wastewater—helping drastically reduce water consumption, meet PCB norms, and support long-term sustainability.
System Highlights & Process Flow:
⏩Screen Chamber – Captures lint, threads, and larger solids at the inlet.
⏩Equalization Tank – Balances flow and load fluctuations.
⏩Aeration Tank – Biological treatment reduces BOD/COD using oxygenation.
⏩Neutralization Process – Maintains ideal pH for further treatment.
⏩Flocculation & Coagulation – Removes suspended solids, detergents, and residual dyes.
⏩Reaction Tank with Tube Settler – Settles out sludge and clarifies the water.
⏩Filter Feed System – Transfers processed water for final filtration.
⏩Multi-Media Filter (MMF) – Polishes water by filtering out fine impurities.
⏩Advanced UF + RO System – Final purification, ensuring high-quality water recovery for reuse.
Sustainable Impact:
With this system, Laundry will now recover and reuse over 36,00,000 liters of water per year—a major step toward water conservation and resource efficiency.
